Identity Tower

AVAX Development, in collaboration with Nice Day Developments, presents the Identity Tower, a striking landmark in the heart of Nicosia, Cyprus. Deeply rooted in local history, the design continues the city’s architectural evolution and explores new directions for the built environment.

Departing from typical glass skyscrapers, the tower features a compact, pierced monolithic volume defined by repeated rows of colored concrete arches. This design unifies structure, aesthetics, and architecture into a single entity. The arches serve as both a strong structural armor and a protective veil between the interior and exterior spaces.

Placing the concrete arches on the perimeter allows for maximum layout flexibility inside. Each apartment features full-height glazing that opens onto large, covered outdoor terraces, offering expansive views of the city and distant mountain ranges.

The building features a grand ground-floor entrance, a private first-floor gym, and four basement levels for parking. The rest of the ground floor and a mezzanine level are dedicated to commercial use. At street level, the series of concrete arches create a covered colonnade, enhancing the experience for residents and passers-by alike.
